Terms and Privacy

Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for Paxo.

Terms and Privacy

Privacy Policy

We take privacy extremely seriously. This isn’t just a platitude; we genuinely care about your privacy. Here’s our approach to privacy in plain language. We’ve also included the legal details below for those who prefer to review them.

Paxo stores your recordings on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, they’ll be synced across your devices using Apple’s systems. Your recordings are not stored on our servers.

When you create a new recording, those recordings are sent to our server for analysis. We transcribe your recording on our server, and then we process the transcription using OpenAI. Here’s more information about OpenAI’s privacy practices.

Once our server is done processing your recording, we delete it from the server. Poof. We don’t store transcriptions, model responses, or anything else. We have no idea what you record using Paxo, and we prefer it that way.

The only time we collect data is when Paxo crashes. We use Sentry for that. This helps us track down and fix bugs quickly. Your recordings will never be sent to us as part of a crash report.

That’s it. We don’t sell your data to anyone. We’re not interested in your data. We’re interested in making a great product.

Because we’re in the early stages, expect these terms to change slightly over time. You can always find the most recent copy of these terms on this page. While the details might change, our commitment to your privacy never will.

Now, brace yourself for some legalese.
